Constance Amelia Herring Wiggins passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the age of 56, following a brief illness. She was born in Gainesville, Florida and grew up in Jacksonville. She currently resided in Green Cove Springs, Florida, and worked as a senior project manager for Avaya. Connie is pre-deceased by her father, Otis Herring Sr., and her brothers, Otis Jr., Paul Sr. and Steve Herring Sr. She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Pauline Strickland Herring and her sisters, Nira (Sonny) Culbertson, Janice (Ray) Phillips, Cynthia (Bill) Mouro and Nancy (Robert) Turner. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Louise, Linda and Penny Herring, as well as a great number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many close and loving friends. A memorial service will be held at 2p.m. on Thursday, December 6th at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Florida. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2pm.
